The founder of Timberland, Nathan Swartz, started to create shoes in 1918 in Boston (Massachusetts) as an apprentice shoemaker. In 1955, he decided to buy the Abington Shoe Company. He created the injection-molding waterproof technology. With this technology, he created the first truly waterproof boots. In 1973, The Timberland brand was born with the model “The original Yellow Boot”.
The Authentic Fleece model picks up after the original design of The Premium 6” model but taller. This boot is truly waterproof with its Premium Waterproof leather and its sealed seams. The Teddy Fleece lining and the taller upper made this boot perfect for keeping your feet warm during winter.
