The founder of Timberland, Nathan Swartz, started to create shoes in 1918 in Boston (Massachusetts) as an apprentice shoemaker. In 1955, he decided to buy the Abington Shoe Company. He created the injection-molding waterproof technology. With this technology, he created the first truly waterproof boots. In 1973, The Timberland brand was born with the model “The original Yellow Boot”.
The Oakrock model from Timberland is a comfortable waterproof men's boot. Tailored for adventure, this boot is made with premium waterproof leather sourced from a silver-rated tannery for water and waste management. Easy to put on thanks to its zipper.
